Summer parties are our jam! Each year we invite our team members from all of our companies as well as our sub-contractors and other business partners and their families for a day to Flamingle with each other. Read on to get all of our Creative Directors ideas and resources to help you plan your very own outdoor flamingle fun!
You can create invitations to print or email/text easily by using the free Canva app like we did for this party or if you would rather have someone else create them for you try Minted. We love the variety, quality and overall look of their designs. Check them out here!
When you have an entire indoor and outdoor stage to set we decided brunch and bloodies Al Fresco was a perfect way to start the party. We are partial to Zing Zang, Bloody Mary mix as it seems to have the perfect blend and is great even if you don't have all the extras to add to the mix. And just for fun I added my new favorite olives by Mezetta for you to try. These are so delicious. And if you like me dislikes pimentos these should be your go to!
Okay so enough of the pre-party party! Let's get to it. So here is our secret, we have so many events going on at once we split our roles. One of us handles, decor, one communications, one design and so on. To make it easy we use Amazon as much as possible and have items dropped on site to make it easier for transport and leg room!
A few of our favorites were the giant flamingo floatie and the baby flamingo drink holders that look super adorable in the pool alongside mama flamingo and are functional too
We also added a reusable Tiki Hut that has held up for 2 years running and makes for a cute back drop for the bar.
We do have a whole lot more planned for this year. And we promise to update you after the photo shoot. But to get your party started here are a few more fun, inexpensive items we love and have used year after year. Happy Flamingling!
UPDATE!!! Our team decided to combine our party with a 3 day pre-retreat to plan for 2021 and oh what fun we had. We wrapped up the retreat and party set up with a photo shoot for our website. And started the party with a splash! Dave and I are absolutely blessed to have this group of AMAZING women on our team. They sure make running a business an adventure!
If you are party planning on a budget here are a few tips from our Creative Directors. If you are okay with designing floral arrangements without much pre-planning stop by Trader Joe's and pick up gorgeous florals on a dime. The range from $3-$10 a bunch and just look how amazing they look.
We found these adorable melamine (plastic) dinner and serving pieces on a trip to grab a few cards at Dollar Tree and BOOM! just as we entered the store we hit the jackpot. Our total cost was 16.00 and that included our greeting cards. Winning! Inventory changes frequently, but check out the link below to see what we are talking about you won't be disappointed. Happy Shopping!
Believe it or not our expenses for all the decor was only about $80.00. Unbelievable? Not really, with a little ingenuity and recycling we pulled it off. Now....ask us about our beverage receipts and that may be another story!!
As you can see ur team works hard and plays hard! Our reward is getting to hear from you. So, please comment and let us feel the LOVE!
What are your favorite elements of our Flamingle themed party? Party planning challenges you need help with? We are here to help you create a feeling! Cheers!
