“And I’m proud to be an American, where at least I know I’m free. And I won’t forget the men who died, who gave that right to me”. Ahhh! The words of Lee Greenwood get me every time. The 4th of July is one of our favorite holidays at Restoration Harmony and decorating for the holiday gives us the chance to show our patriotism and how much we LOVE AMERICA and all of those heroes who have fought for our country and each of us.  It is also time for us to gather with family, host a grill out, eat, drink and enjoy fireworks and all things SUMMER…think watermelon, corn on the cob and a big ol burger! YUM! If you are planning a 4th of July bash I’m SERIOUSLY going to make it easy for you with these simple DIY décor ideas, and red, white and blue themed apps and drinks. Enjoy!
Okay so how adorable are these? Our girls LOVE to dip chocolate strawberries, add a touch of sugar sprinkles and voila! You look like a pro and your guests will gobble them up.

While you are “dippin” try this cute and EASY dessert from Family Fresh Meals. Wash some of your favorite red and blue berries or cherries and almond bark pretzels. Easy Peasy!

Top off your red, white and blue eats, Like Mother, Like Daughter shares this simple recipe below. Fruit punch, Blueberry Pomegranate Gatorade and Sprite Zero complete this refreshing mix and if you want to pretty it up check out this take on the drink by Modern Endeavors.

On to your DIY decor. How cute is the banner above? Catch my Party always has fantastic projects to make your celebration complete.

Almost everyone has white napkins lying around paper or linen will work. You can grab an entire bag of small flags at most discount stores for CHEAP! How much easier and patriotic can you get? And guests have a flag as a keepsake or to wave proudly at the local parade.
Or….. just as easy a few bandanas from the dollar store, mason jars and silverware paired with disposable plates and solo cups you are ALL set for dining.
